Chapter 08 | Akshar Brahma Yog | Verse 26
शुक्लकृष्णे गती ह्येते जगत: शाश्वते मते |
एकया यात्यनावृत्तिमन्ययावर्तते पुन: || 26||
śuklakṛṣṇē gatī hyētē jagataḥ śāśvatē matē ।
ēkayā yātyanāvṛttimanyayāvartatē punaḥ ॥ 26 ॥
શુક્લકૃષ્ણે ગતી હ્યેતે જગતઃ શાશ્વતે મતે ।
એકયા યાત્યનાવૃત્તિમન્યયાવર્તતે પુનઃ ॥ 26 ॥
MEANING
क्योंकि जगत्के ये दो प्रकारके – शुक्ल और कृष्ण – – अर्थात् देवयान और पितृयान मार्ग सनातन माने गये हैं। इनमें एकके द्वारा गया हुआ * – जिससे वापस – – नहीं लौटना पड़ता, उस परम गतिको प्राप्त होता है और दूसरेके द्वारा गया हुआ * फिर वापस आता है अर्थात् जन्म-मृत्युको प्राप्त होता है|
The Blessed Lord Krishna continued: These bright and dark paths are considered to be the two original paths of the universe.
By following the bright path, the Yogi reaches the Supreme State from where there is no return. Going by the other path, the Yogi is subject to birth and death as many times as he chooses to follow this path.
કેમકે જગતના આ બે પ્રકારના શુક્લ અને કૃષ્ણ અર્થાત્ દેવયાન અને પિતૃયાન માર્ગ સનાતન મનાયા છે; આ બેમાંથી એક માર્ગ દ્વારા જનાર જ્યાંથી પાછું નથી ફરવું પડતું, એ પરમ ગતિને પામે છે અને બીજા માર્ગ દ્વારા જનાર ફરી પાછો આવે છે એટલે કે જન્મ-મરણને પામે છે.
